Journal Square PATH Station (~13–16 min walk, or a short bus ride): 24/7 service to World Trade Center / Financial District (~12 min) and, via transfer, Midtown 33rd St (~20 min). Trains run every 3–8 minutes at peak. $3.00/ride — tap any credit card. Rideshare is a quick, affordable option for the last mile if you’d rather skip the walk. The Neighborhood This is a quieter, more residential part of Jersey City — minutes from restaurants, cafés, and grocery stores, with India Square (renowned for Indian cuisine) and Journal Square's local culture nearby. Liberty State Park and its waterfront skyline views are an easy reach, and Hoboken's nightlife and Downtown Jersey City are both a short ride away. If you want a calmer home base with real space and good value, this trade-off works well. Good to Know Self check-in via smart lock — arrive on your schedule. Parking: Free street parking is available nearby, subject to availability. A residential permit may be required for parking over 2 hours in this area — check posted signs carefully for permit requirements, street cleaning, and time limits. Overnight street parking is restricted citywide from 2am–6am.
