Good to know
Two matching bedrooms give groups balanced, symmetrical space — no one gets the “worse” room: Bedroom 1: Queen bed + single bed + TV— bright, comfortable setup for couples or small families Bedroom 2: Queen bed + single bed — identical layout, clean and functional The fully equipped kitchen has modern appliances, cookware, dishes, and utensils — great for cooking, takeout, or remote work at the dining table. The bathroom has modern finishes with fresh towels and essentials. In-unit washer and dryer, plus fast WiFi and a dedicated workspace, round out the apartment. Getting to Manhattan Set realistic expectations: this is a residential neighborhood, not steps from the PATH — but the connections are solid: Bus stop on Summit Ave at Pavonia Ave (4 min walk): NJ Transit Route 119 runs to Port Authority Bus Terminal in Midtown (~25–30 min), and Route 80 connects toward Downtown JC and PATH. Journal Square PATH Station (~13–16 min walk, or a short bus ride): 24/7 service to World Trade Center / Financial District (~12 min) and, via transfer, Midtown 33rd St (~20 min). Trains run every 3–8 minutes at peak. $3.00/ride — tap any credit card. Rideshare is a quick, affordable option for the last mile if you’d rather skip the walk. The Neighborhood This is a quieter, more residential part of Jersey City — minutes from restaurants, cafés, and grocery stores, with India Square (renowned for Indian cuisine) and Journal Square's local culture nearby. Liberty State Park and its waterfront skyline views are an easy reach, and Hoboken's nightlife and Downtown Jersey City are both a short ride away. If you want a calmer home base with real space and good value, this trade-off works well. Good to Know Self check-in via smart lock — arrive on your schedule. Parking: Free street parking is available nearby, subject to availability. A residential permit may be required for parking over 2 hours in this area — check posted signs carefully for permit requirements, street cleaning, and time limits. Overnight street parking is restricted citywide from 2am–6am. The Heights / Journal Square area generally has more available street parking than Downtown JC, but spots are not guaranteed — allow extra time, especially on evenings and weekends. The Journal Square Transportation Center garage (13–16 min walk) offers guaranteed public parking if needed. Guests are responsible for any parking fees, permits, tickets, or towing. Two matching bedrooms, in-unit laundry, a real kitchen, and a short ride to everything New York has to offer — more space and better value than a comparable Manhattan hotel, in a calmer corner of Jersey City
